Welcome to our Juice Joint! Winchester’s brings you back to the Roaring 20s in the time of speakeasies, when alcohol could only be consumed with a prescription.
We make lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch fun for the whole family with options for everyone, including a great kid’s menu.
Join us at Winchester’s Donut Counter each morning from 7 AM – 11 PM for a warm, handcrafted vanilla cake donut, or opt for a relaxed in-room breakfast or donut delivery.
Weekend brunch is served Saturdays and Sundays from 9 AM – 2 PM. Enjoy our signature Bloody Mary or creative Mary variations with fun garnishes and flavored rim salts. Choose from a variety of brunch items, including Warm Winchester’s Donuts, Banana Fosters French Toast, or Shrimp and Smoked Cheddar Grits.
Dinner highlights gourmet locally inspired dishes with the choice to add on expertly paired whiskeys and bourbons.
We carry the most extensive selection of whiskey and bourbon on Mackinac Island for your enjoyment. Join us for fun and educational bourbon and whiskey flights. New to the brown spirits? Let us create a flight to introduce you to the intricacies of these spirits. Advanced palate? We have sophisticated selections for you to sample and enjoy.

Wally Arenas, General Manager
Welcome, friends! I have over 25 years of experience in hospitality – seven years of running teams doing restaurant openings and the last fifteen managing restaurants and fine dining. When you come in and want to order my favorite cocktail, a classic Old Fashioned is probably my favorite drink to make. I love to play sports. I grew up playing just about everything, but these days golf, racquetball and tennis are what I play when I can. There is so much to love about the island, but I think I enjoy the quiet the most. I like taking the walk around the perimeter and hiking the 70 miles of trails in the middle of the island. Looking forward to seeing you soon!
Justin Barnes, Director of Operations
My passion is creating new concepts in dining that bring together great food and excellent service to create an amazing experience for our guests. For 30 years, I have been working in the restaurant business and have held positions from Dishwasher to Director of Operations, and everything in between. My favorite cocktail is a Vieux Carre – if you love a bold drink, make sure to order one from one of our expert bartenders. When I get a day off, I am a habitual golfer and love boating. In the winter, you will find me on a ski hill or traveling with my family. Biking M-185 is my favorite thing to do on Mackinac.
